Dr Olufemi Oladunni, Executive Director, Agricultural and Rural Management Training Institute (ARMTI) has advised every family to produce 30 per cent of what they consume, according to him, only then can the high cost of living in the country can be brought down.
Oladunni gave the advice on Tuesday during the organized free one-day training programme on agribusiness for members of Correspondents’ Chapel of the state.
The programme, which was part of the annual Press Week celebration of the chapel, was aimed at training journalists on sustainable agribusiness during and after service.
Speaking during the programme, Dr Olufemi Oladunni, said that agriculture is no longer a hobby but a business.
Dr Oladunni, who said that the prevalent high price of food items in the country could be favourably addressed when every family produces 30 per cent of what they consume, said that every professional should engage in agribusiness.
